Light Maintenance (the WordPress plugin) runs entirely on your own server.

• No Cookies: The plugin does not set cookies for your site visitors. It may use standard WordPress sessions to allow logged-in administrators to bypass the maintenance screen, but this is native WordPress functionality.
• No External Calls: The maintenance page generated by the plugin does not load external fonts, scripts, or assets from our servers. Everything is self-contained within your site for maximum privacy and speed.

2. This Website & Third-Party Services

When you visit lightmaintenance.site we prioritize performance and security. To achieve this, we use industry-standard third-party infrastructure that may process limited data:

Hosting & Infrastructure (Vercel & GitHub):

Our website is hosted on Vercel and GitHub. These platforms collect standard server logs, including IP addresses, to monitor network security and ensure high availability.

Security & Optimization (Cloudflare):

We use Cloudflare to protect against DDoS attacks and improve site delivery speed. Cloudflare processes web traffic to filter out malicious bots and may use cookies to provide these security features.

Analytics (Google Analytics):

We use a performance-optimized version of Google Analytics to see how many people visit our site. We have configured this to load with a delay to protect your PageSpeed. It uses anonymous cookies to track aggregate data; we do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII).

3. Donations & Payments

We accept donations to support the development of this open-source project.

All donations are processed securely through Fourthwall. We do not store or process your credit card information or banking details on our servers. When you donate, you are subject to Fourthwall's privacy policy and terms of service.
